EIT Polytechnic College, Kavindapadi formerly known as Erode Institute of Technology, a highly commendable Govt. Aided institute, occupies a place of pride amongst the premier technical institutes of the southern region of Tamilnadu. Established in the year 1980, financed and run by The Mudaliar Educational Trust, Erode.
The Mudaliar Education Trust is formed in the year of 1972 by a group of philanthropist, educationist and visionary people belonging to Mudaliar Community.

Librarian: Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET / SET.
Skilled Assistant / Lab Assistant: An Industrial Training Institute certificate / NTC / NAC in appropriate Trade.

max 35 years; The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-Serviceman as per Govt. of India rules.
